We are right between the villages of Meios and Trinta, with a view of Videmonte, right next to (and with a beautiful view of) the Serra de Estrela National Park and mountain range.

If you zoom out a bit, the closest town is Guarda. That’s a 20min drive away from Casa Beatrix and has everything you need from supermarkets to restaurants, healthcare practitioners and hospitals, a movie theater, and more.

We’re very close to the Spanish border.

In other words, we are between Lisbon and Porto (but closer to Porto), and all the way inland. If you drive from Porto, it’s just over 2h. If you drive from Lisbon, it takes 3h30.

The easiest way to get to us is to fly in to Porto international airport (OPO), and then rent a car to drive 2h inland. Should you not want to rent a car, you can take the train or the bus to Guarda, and we can pick you up (note: that has a cost, and means you will have very limited mobility once at Casa Beatrix).
